Hall description

This newest and most state-of-the-art multi-functional pavilion can be found in the rear part of the Brno Exhibition Ground. It is the biggest pavilion on the premises of the Exhibition Ground; its inside dimensions are 200 x 80 metres. The pavilion includes a separate entrance hall with ticket box-offices, registration space and cloak rooms; it houses three stable lecture theatres. The pavilion is perfectly fit for handling the exhibits: the ceiling height is up to 12 m, and the floor bearing capacity is suitable even for the heaviest exhibits: 10,000 kg/m2. The most state-of-the-art pavilion concept enables flexible utilization of any rasterized area. Inner walls are made of materials improving acoustic properties of the hall. The pavilion consists of a steel bearing structure with the minimum number of pillars on the area. The cladding of the pavilion is made of the combination of metal and glass; glazed areas are fitted with blinds to satisfy possible requirements of exhibitors for darkening the pavilion. The main advantage is the connection to the slip road from the D1 motorway, and sufficient parking space in close proximity.

Possibilities of use

The maximum capacity of 10 000 persons provides a unique opportunity for organizing concerts and discos. The pavilion can be also used for guest trade fairs, congresses and conferences: it offers well-equipped back areas and numerous layout possibilities.
